The Steve Tilford Foundation Received a Check for Nearly $4k

Happy Holidays All~ Snow has fallen and there is a blanket of beautiful white covering most of the Gitche Gumee Granfondo route right now. We have broken out our skis and enjoying every opportunity we can to take advantage of what Mother Nature offers us. We are so happy for all four seasons here in the Northland. Get out there, and get up here!!

Despite the snow, we just wanted to let everyone know what the GGGF-100 crew has been cookin' up for next Summer's event, and what we've been up to recently. Yep, we've already been hard at work planning and making contacts with sponsors new and old to make next Summer's ride even better than last. We have loved the input from all of you and we are doing our level best to accommodate as many of your thoughtful requests as we possibly can. We love all suggestions and are taking all of them into account. More beer please!!!

We are happy to announce that we were able to make a nice donation to our charitable organization from the GGGF. The Steve Tilford Foundation received a check for nearly $4,000 from entry fees and sponsor donations. Thank You all for the support for this great cause.

Earlier in November, we attended the Wisconsin Bicycle Federation Hall of Fame Gala. Super happy to see close friend and 7-11 teammate Tom Schuler inducted into the Hall of Fame. Congratulations Tom!

The GGGF donated 2 entry fee's and a $50 gift certificate at River's Eatery and the "pay it forward" chalkboard to the silent auction and WI Bike Fed fundraiser. Congratulations to George & Susan Fehrenbach who were the lucky winners of the donation; we are looking forward to having them join us next Summer for the event.

Tomorrow, (Saturday, Tommy will be joining some of his former 7-Eleven teammate's for a Zwift "virtual" online charity ride benefiting World Bicycle Relief and its partners. Learn more about WBR worldbicylcerelief.org/GiveGo

This will be the 3rd year team 7-11 has participated in this fantastic event and wonderful cause. Please join us for the ride on Dec. 1st from virtually anywhere Zwift technology can be found.

We will be taking part in a couple different podcasts promoting the events over the next few months and into Spring. We will let you know when these podcasts will be airing on-line. Please do listen in.

Stay active, stay fit, keep working hard, and we'll see you in the Northland sometime soon.

Roll on,

Tommy
